1. Teaching University Geomedi LLC is announcing an open competition for the position of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Healthcare Economics And Management in the field of Marketing and Management.

2. A) A person with an academic degree of Doctor or an equivalent degree with at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience may be elected to the position of Associate Professor for a term of 7 (seven) years.
B) A person with a doctorate or an equivalent academic degree may be elected to the position of Assistant Professor for a term of 3 (three) years.
3. The person willing to participate in the competition is obliged to submit the following documents in compliance with the defined terms and conditions to the competition committee:
A) Application (application can be submitted in person or electronically to the Head of the Human Resources Management Office. email: tamar.soziashvili@geomedi.edu.ge . Application form can be downloaded here

B) a copy of the identification document (passport, ID card);
C) a copy of the document(s) certifying the academic degree (or if any, the document issued in accordance with the current legislation on recognition of education and/or scientific degree obtained in a foreign country);
D) a document reflecting work experience issued in accordance with the rules established by the legislation (certificate, copy of employment records, etc.);
E) a document certifying pedagogical and scientific activities;
F) CV (in Georgian and English);
G) Syllabus;
H) two photos in electronic (CD) format;
I) List of scientific works published during the last 10 years, participation in scientific conferences and symposia;
J) Concept of scientific-research work;
K) Certificate of conviction for a crime against sexual freedom and inviolability.
4. In order to participate in the competition for the academic position, the contestant must declare his / her consent to the affiliation with the University in advance, and after being elected to the academic position, he/she must sign a written agreement with the Teaching University Geomedi LLC.
5. The competition committee verifies the compliance of the submitted documents with the requirements. In case of incomplete submission of the documentation, the application is not accepted and registered.
6. The competition will be announced on August 11, 2021.
7. The timeframe for document submission is September 20, 2021, till October 1, 2021, weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm;
8. Interview on the concept of scientific research work will be held on October 4, 2021, from 10 am to 5 pm.
9. The results of the competition will be announced on October 5, 2021.
10. The deadline for appealing the results of the competition is set for October 6, 2021, until 5 pm; Appeals Committee will discuss the complaints on October 07-08, 2021.
11. The person in the academic position will be selected according to the points accumulated according to the rating evaluation criteria.
1. Teachers with pedagogical experience score corresponding to the number of years of work;
2. Scientific article (during the last 10 years): 3 points for each article published in a peer-reviewed journal;
3. Monograph in the relevant field (during the last 10 years) -20 points;
4. Participation in scientific conferences (during the last 10 years):
A) Participation in an international scientific conference – 10 points
B) Participation in the regional scientific conference – 3 points
5. Interview on the concept of scientific-research work – 5 points.
