On October 21, an online training session, “Scientific Databases: Opportunities for Publishing Articles,” was held at the initiative of the University Geomedi Library. The session was led by Marika Zhorzholiani, a representative of the National Scientific Library and the EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) Licensing Coordinator for Georgia.
A training session was held for academic staff and students. The aim was to support scientific research activities and enhance practical skills in the effective use of electronic databases.
The meeting covered the following topics: access to electronic scientific databases and search techniques; the stages and opportunities for publishing scientific articles in both subscription-based and open-access journals; and criteria for selecting international journals.
