As part of its internationalization activities, a delegation from University Geomedi, represented by Professor Alexandre Loladze, Vice Rector, and Ms. Catherine-Madonna Bouadze, Head of the Student Relations Office, visited India and held a meeting with the leadership of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
During the visit, the Geomedi delegation met with Dr. Shalya Raj, Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, and discussed opportunities for strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting focused on the development of long-term academic and institutional collaboration, with particular attention to creating new opportunities for students, academic staff, and researchers from both universities.
Among the key areas discussed were:
- Development of opportunities for clinical and educational exchanges for medical students;
- Cooperation between academic and administrative staff;
- Organization of joint international conferences, scientific meetings, seminars, and workshops;
- Development of joint academic and research initiatives;
- Exchange of academic experience and best practices in medical education;
- Opportunities for cooperation in postgraduate and continuing medical education;
The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange perspectives on contemporary medical education and to identify areas in which their academic communities could work together.
The meeting is another step in University Geomedi’s internationalization strategy and its commitment to expanding global academic partnerships, creating additional educational, scientific, and professional opportunities for its students and academic community.
