Summer School

  1. University Geomedi offers students with active status from the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th semesters of the Faculty of Medicine the opportunity to participate in a Summer School at University of Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands, on the topic “Transplantology 2026.”
  2. Duration of the Summer School – 4 days (June 8–12, 2026).
  3. Application submission deadlines – interested students must upload the full set of application documents to the Summer School’s electronic system (https://www.aanmelder.nl/173278/subscribe?survey_id=207466) no later than April 20, 2026, at 17:00, and also send them to the following email address: summerschooltransplantation@rug.nl
    List of application documents:
    ● CV in Europass format (in English)
    ● Motivational video address (no longer than 1 minute)
    ● One-page essay (minimum 500 words) on transplantology
  4. Selection process – based on the submitted documentation, the University of Groningen will independently select the participants for the Summer School.
  5. Additional information:
    ● University Geomedi will fund participation costs for 2 (two) selected students with high GPA – one student from the Georgian-language one-cycle Medical Doctor program and one student from the English-language one-cycle Medical Doctor program.
