A delegation from University Geomedi, represented by Professor Alexandre Loladze, Vice Rector, and Ms. Catherine-Madonna Bouadze, Head of the Student Relations Office, visited India and held a meeting with the leadership team of KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) to explore opportunities for international academic and clinical cooperation.
During the visit, the Geomedi delegation met with Mr. Adwik Bollineni, Founder and CMD (Executive Director) of KIMS Hospitals, and members of the KIMS Hospital Board and management team.
The meeting focused on developing potential areas of cooperation between University Geomedi and KIMS Hospitals, particularly in the field of medical education and clinical training.
One of the key areas discussed was the possibility of providing clinical practice opportunities for Geomedi medical students at KIMS Hospitals. Such cooperation would give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in a modern international hospital environment and become familiar with contemporary approaches to patient care, clinical practice, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
The parties also discussed mechanisms for supporting Geomedi graduates who wish to continue their medical careers and professional development in India, including guidance regarding the transition from medical education to professional practice.
University Geomedi looks forward to further discussions with KIMS Hospitals and to developing a framework for long-term academic, clinical, and professional cooperation between the two institutions.
