Summer School

  1. University Geomedi offers students with active status from the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th semesters of the Faculty of Medicine the opportunity to participate in an International Summer School at University of Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands, on the topic “Transplantation Medicine 2026.”
  2. Duration of the Summer School – 4 days (June 8–12, 2026).
  3. Application submission deadlines – interested students must upload the full set of application documents to the Summer School’s electronic system (https://www.aanmelder.nl/173278/subscribe?survey_id=207466) no later than April 20, 2026, at 17:00, and also send them to the following email address: summerschooltransplantation@rug.nl
    List of application documents:
    ● CV in Europass format (in English)
    ● Motivational video address (no longer than 1 minute)
    ● One-page essay (minimum 500 words) on transplantology
  4. Selection process – based on the submitted documentation, the University of Groningen will independently select the participants for the Summer School.
  5. Additional information:
    ● University Geomedi will fund participation costs for 2 (two) selected students with high GPA – one student from the Georgian-language one-cycle Medical Doctor program and one student from the English-language one-cycle Medical Doctor program.
