University Geomedi participated in the webinars, which were conducted by Elsevier Representatives. On March 2 and 7, 2023, Elsevier trainer Tamar Gogua conducted two online trainings on the topics: “Literature search and author profile in Scopus” and “Literature search in ScienceDirect + Mendeley-guide for beginners”. During the webinars, which were held on the Zoom platform in the Georgian language, the trainer discussed methods and strategies of thorough searching in Scopus and ScienceDirect, talked about the advantages of databases, the use of Mendeley, etc. University professors, students, and library staff attended the trainings. At the end of the webinars, the speaker answered the questions of the attending audience.
