On February 3, 2023, a scientific seminar on the topic “Determination of antioxidant potential of Georgian medicinal plants and the prospects of their application for the treatment of pathologies associated with oxidative stress” was held in the conference hall of University Geomedi.
The speaker was Valentina Mittova, professor at the University Geomedi, and chief scientist of the Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine. At the seminar, she spoke about the antioxidant potential of endemic plants in liver disease model, in mice. Within the framework of the seminar, the strategies for planning relevant experiments were also discussed.
