With the support of the Professional Development and Residency Office, On October 26, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., a public lecture on the topic: “Tuberculosis – a global health challenge” will be held at the conference hall of University Geomedi. It will be conducted by Professor Davit Chorgoliani, who is a Ph.D., MD, and an expert of the World Health Organization (WHO).
He has 25 years of clinical and academic work experience with the world’s leading international health organizations, in such countries as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the Netherlands, Pakistan, India, China, Malaysia, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Vietnam, and Turkey; is the author of 30 scientific articles and co-author of international tuberculosis guidelines. The lecture will be held in English.
