On June 24, 2021, Student Theoretical and Practical online Conference on the topic: “Modern Issues in Medicine and Management” was organized by the University Geomedi. The aim of the conference was to stimulate the active involvement of students in scientific activities and to discuss current issues in healthcare. The Rector of the University, Professor Marina Pirtskhalava addressed the students in her opening speech.
The Students from all faculties participated in the conference. Following each presentation, a discussion was held. The Jury members evaluated the reports and determined the following winners:
I place – Nana Gagnidze (Faculty of Dentistry);
II place – Swarali Chodnekar (Faculty of Medicine);
III place – Tamar Kachkachishvili (Faculty of Dentistry);
Sympathy of the Jury – Barbare Khomasuridze (Faculty of Medicine).
Participants were awarded certificates and reports will be published in the university’s Student Conference Proceedings.
