I. An open competition is announced for the position of the Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at the Teaching University Geomedi LLC, with the following conditions:
II. The position of Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at Teaching University Geomedi LLC can be held for a period of 5 (five) years by a person who has a degree in Medicine or Biology or an equivalent academic degree, no less than 6 years of experience in scientific research, and has Scientific publications in leading local and international journals and other publications for the last 10 years.
III. Those wishing to participate in the competition are obliged to submit the following documents to the Scientific Council in compliance with the defined conditions and deadlines:
A) application on behalf of the Scientific Council (according to the established form);
B) a copy of the identity document (passport, ID card);
C) a copy of the document (documents) certifying the relevant academic degree (a copy of a document issued in a foreign country for education and/or recognition of a scientific degree, if any);
D) a document issued in accordance with the legislation reflecting the experience of scientific-research activities (certificate/copy of labor book, etc.);
E) Autobiography CV;
F) List of scientific publications published during the last 10 years;
G) Information on scientific research activities and participation in grant competitions during the last 10 years.
H) Action plan.
I) Certificate of English language proficiency (B2 level) and/or the result of internal testing.
IV. The Scientific Council verifies compliance with the requirements of the submitted documentation. In case of incomplete submission of the documentation, the application is not accepted.
V. An applicant, who fails to present an English language proficiency certificate (B2 level) must pass an English language test.
VI. The competition is announced on September 08, 2020.
VII. The deadline for submission of documents is October 20, 2020, to November 19, 2020, every working day from 10 am to 5 pm;
VIII. Testing in English will be conducted on November 20, 2020, 10.00 am -17.00 pm
IX. Interview to be held on November 24, 2020 (10.00am -17.00pm).
X. The results of the competition will be announced on November 25, 2020.
XI The deadline for appealing the results of the competition is set for November 26, 2020, at 5 pm; November 27-30, 2020 is designated for the work of the Appeals Commission.
XII The Candidate for the position of the Director of the Scientific-Research Institute will be elected by the Scientific Council in accordance with the points accumulated according to the evaluation criteria.
1. Scientific article (during the last 10 years):
A) 10 points for each article published in the Impact Factor Journal.
B) 5 points for each article published in peer-reviewed and indexed journals / international collections (including electronic journals / collections) in international electronic databases;
2. Participation in scientific-research projects (during the last 10 years) -5 points;
Involvement in local and international scientific grants – 5 points;
Participation in scientific conferences (during the last 10 years) – 5 points;
Action Plan Evaluation -15 points;
Interview – 10 points.
