On October 12, 2018 the seminar ‘Integration of people with disabilities into society and their empowerment – challenges and perspectives” was held at the University Geomedi. The following topics were presented at the seminar: integration of people with disabilities into society, equalization of opportunities for people with disabilities, social stereotypes about people with disabilities, access to education and social care, involvement in sports, contribution to self-realization, raising public awareness of society, healthy lifestyle popularization.
Doctor of Psychology Professor Ketevan Inasaridze, Doctor of Pedagocis, Associated Professor Ketevan Kobalia, Physician of Georgian Paralympic team, Rehabilitologist Tea Adamia, and President of Georgian Paralympic Academy, Tinatin Revazishvili made a presentation at the conference.
