On July 11-14, 2017 volleyball tournament took place within the “Universiade 2017”, among the participants were: Jaba Rokhvadze, the faculty of Medicine, Mamuka Tsertsiani and Vera Guliashvili, the faculty Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Gvantsa Mirianashvili, Faculty of Stomatology.
On July 12, 2017, table tennis was contested at “Universiade 2017” , where student of University Geomedi Veriko Guliashvili took part in it.
On July 08, 2017, bench press was contested at the “Universiade 2017”, where student of University Geomedi Levan Laziashvili (in the category of 93kg.) took a 4th place in it.
On July 6, 2017, Wrestling was contested at Olympic Trainig Center at “Universiade 2017”, where Imeda Gogoladze, a student of the faculty of Medicine, won gold medal.
On July 3, 2017, Olympic Training Center hosted the “Universiade 2017” Judo contest, where the silver medal was won by Imeda Gogoladze, a student of the faculty of Medicine.
