I. Teaching University Geomedi LLC is announcing an open competition for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
II. The competition will be held in two stages:
Stage 1 – submission of documentation.
Stage 2 – Interview on the development of the Faculty of Medicine.
III. The candidate must submit:
1. Application to the Competition Commission (application can be submitted electronically to the e-mail of the Head of the Human Resources Management Service: tamar.soziashvili@geomedi.edu.ge, in accordance with the established form 
);
2. Autobiography, CV;
3. Copy of ID card (passport, ID card);
4. Copies of documents certifying higher education and quality in the relevant field (medicine) (a copy of a document issued in a foreign country for education and/or recognition of scientific quality, if any);
5. List of scientific works;
6. Certificate of English language proficiency (B2 level) and/or the result of internal testing;
7. Cover letter;
8. The concept of how to develop the Faculty of Medicine (presented in a maximum of 180 words)
9. Notification of non-conviction for a sexual offense.
The candidate must have:
• Discipline
• Ability to work in a team
• Organizational skills
IV. The candidate is evaluated by the following criteria:
• work experience
• The concept of development of the Faculty of Medicine
• motivation letter
• Interview
A member of the commission has the right to award 1 point to a candidate in each criterion.
V. The competition commission verifies compliance with the requirements of the submitted documentation. In case of incomplete submission of the documentation, the application is not accepted.
VI. An applicant, who fails to present a Certificate of Proficiency in English (B2 level) must pass an English language test.
VII. The candidate will be selected according to the points accumulated according to the criteria. Maximum score 12. Passing score 10.
VIII. The competition will be announced on February 09, 2021.
IX. The deadline for submission of documents is February 18 to February 24, 2021, from 10 am to 6 pm every working day.
X. Testing in English will be conducted on February 25, 2021, at 15:00 p.m.
XI. The interview will take place on February 26, 2021, at 14:00 hrs.
XII. The results of the competition will be announced on March 1, 2021.
XIII. The deadline for appealing the results of the competition is March 2, 2021,17: 00 p.m.
XIV. March 4, 2021, is designated for the work of the Appeals Commission.
