On July 14, 2017 championship in arm wrestling took place at the “Universiade 2017”, student of the faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Gaioz Tsetskhladze has won a gold medal.
In total students from the University Geomedi have won: 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at the Universiade 2017.
