December 23th, 2022, the training on the topic “The importance of cyber security and cyber hygiene in higher education” was conducted at University Geomedi. The training was led by an analyst and trainer of the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, Sophio Japaridze.
During the training, the following issues were discussed: the Cyber security ecosystem in Georgia, the importance of international cooperation, national cyber security strategy, threats and risks in cyberspace and tips for ensuring cyber security in higher education. The administration staff, examination center and IT department members of the University Geomedi attended the training.
