Teaching University Geomedi LLC is announcing a competition for an exchange program for 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 8<sup>th<\/sup>, 9<sup>th<\/sup>-semester students of the faculty of Medicine at Altinbas University in Turkey. Only students with active status can participate in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. The Duration of Exchange program<\/strong> &#8211; 1 Semester (Fall Semester of the 2022\/2023 academic year).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. The deadline for application<\/strong> is 16:00 o\u2019clock, on March 9, 2022. Students, who are willing to participate, must send the application documents to the following e-mail address: <a href=\"mailto:nana.gvenetadze@geomedi.edu.ge\">nana.gvenetadze@geomedi.edu.ge<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>List of application documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Copy of ID card or passport<\/li><li>CV in Europass format (in English, not more than two pages)<\/li><li>International Certificate of English Language, B2 Level, or Document Issued by the University Examination Center proving the B2 level in English <strong>(see note below)<\/strong><\/li><li>Motivation letter (in English, not more than one page)<\/li><li>Letter of Recommendation from the University Academic Staff or the Dean of the Faculty (in English)<\/li><li>Transcript (in English)<\/li><li>Completed application form <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/doc\/exchange_program_application_form_eng.docx\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"29\" height=\"28\" src=\"https:\/\/geomedi.edu.ge\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/icon word1.png\" alt=\"\u10d2\u10d0\u10dc\u10ea\u10ee\u10d0\u10d3\u10d4\u10d1\u10d0\"><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the submission of documents, the applicants will be evaluated and nominated in accordance with Article 5. paragraph 5.3 of the &#8220;Rule on Participation in the International Exchange Program for Student and Personnel (Academic, Scientific, Administrative, Support)&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Selection process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Checking the application documents (Geomedi Teaching University LLC)<\/li><li>Interview with the Competition Committee (Teaching University Geomedi LLC)<\/li><li>Nomination of selected candidates at the host university (Altinbas University)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. The interview<\/strong> with the Competition Committee will be held on March 11, 2022, at 12.00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. The courses for the exchange program<\/strong>-please contact the Dean or head of the program to choose the courses at Altinbas University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7. Consultations<\/strong> regarding the exchange program are scheduled for March 7<sup>th<\/sup> at 11:00, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8. Additional information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Selected candidates will pay the costs of international and local travel, accommodation, food, and travel insurance.<\/li><li>The selected candidate must remain an active student during the exchange program.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> in case a student doesn&#8217;t hold an International Valid Certificate of English B2 level, he\/she can take the B2 Level English Test at the University Examination Center and obtain a Certificate.
