The aim of the conference was to stimulate the active involvement of students in scientific activities and to discuss current issues in healthcare. The Rector of the University, Professor Marina Pirtskhalava addressed the students in her opening speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Students from all faculties participated in the conference. Following each presentation, a discussion was held. The Jury members evaluated the reports and determined the following winners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I place<\/strong> \u2013 Nana Gagnidze (Faculty of Dentistry);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>II place<\/strong> \u2013 Swarali Chodnekar (Faculty of&nbsp; Medicine);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>III place<\/strong> \u2013 Tamar Kachkachishvili (Faculty of Dentistry);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sympathy of the Jury<\/strong> \u2013 Barbare Khomasuridze (Faculty of Medicine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants were awarded certificates and reports will be published in the university\u2019s \u00a0Student Conference Proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 24, 2021, Student Theoretical and Practical online Conference on the topic: \u201cModern Issues in Medicine and Management\u201d was organized by the University Geomedi.
