On July 6, 2017, Wrestling was contested at Olympic Trainig Center at “Universiade 2017”, where Imeda Gogoladze, a student of the faculty of Medicine, won gold medal.

On July 3, 2017, Olympic Training Center hosted the “Universiade 2017” Judo contest, where the silver medal was won by Imeda Gogoladze, a student of the faculty of Medicine.

On July 1, 2017, Georgia Badminton was contested at “Universiade 2017” was held in Badminton, where students of University Geomedi took active part. Among the boys were students of the faculty of Medicine, Purvrajsingh Solanki and Mohit Patel, and among the girls Nirali Trivedi and Bharaty Singh.

On 29th of May, 2017, Sambo was contested at the “Universiade 2017”, organized by Georgian University Sport Federation and supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia. Student of the faculty of Medicine of University Geomedi, Imeda Gogoladze has won a gold medal.

On May 28, 2017, championship in shooting was held at Nino Salukvadze’s shooting gallery, where students from university Geomedi took part. Davit Nadiradze, a student of the faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has won a bronze medal.
