Launch of Earth Day Campaign, Georgia

On April 22, 2017, on the International Earth Day, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia and the University Geomedi’s Self-government organized a clean-up activity. The students cleaned up the university’s territory, King Solomon II Street (Krtsanisi str), Krtsanisi gorge. Environmental activity has been completed with the St Saba Monastery. Foreign students took active part in the event along with Georgian students.
The University Geomedi’s student self-government joined the first large-scale clean-up campaign “Let’s make Georgia cleaner towards Europe”, where government agencies, international organizations and embassies, schools, university self-governments, sportsmen and private sector representatives were involved, total 25,000 persons all over the Georgia.
