1. Teaching University Geomedi LLC is announcing a competition for an exchange program for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th-semester students of the faculty of Medicine at Altinbas University in Turkey. Only students with active status can participate in the competition.
2. The Duration of Exchange program – 1 Semester (Fall Semester of the 2022/2023 academic year).
3. The deadline for application is 16:00 o’clock, on March 9, 2022. Students, who are willing to participate, must send the application documents to the following e-mail address: nana.gvenetadze@geomedi.edu.ge.
List of application documentation:
- Copy of ID card or passport
- CV in Europass format (in English, not more than two pages)
- International Certificate of English Language, B2 Level, or Document Issued by the University Examination Center proving the B2 level in English (see note below)
- Motivation letter (in English, not more than one page)
- Letter of Recommendation from the University Academic Staff or the Dean of the Faculty (in English)
- Transcript (in English)
- Completed application form
After the submission of documents, the applicants will be evaluated and nominated in accordance with Article 5. paragraph 5.3 of the “Rule on Participation in the International Exchange Program for Student and Personnel (Academic, Scientific, Administrative, Support)”
4. Selection process:
- Checking the application documents (Geomedi Teaching University LLC)
- Interview with the Competition Committee (Teaching University Geomedi LLC)
- Nomination of selected candidates at the host university (Altinbas University)
5. The interview with the Competition Committee will be held on March 11, 2022, at 12.00 pm.
6. The courses for the exchange program-please contact the Dean or head of the program to choose the courses at Altinbas University.
7. Consultations regarding the exchange program are scheduled for March 7th at 11:00, 2022.
8. Additional information:
- Selected candidates will pay the costs of international and local travel, accommodation, food, and travel insurance.
- The selected candidate must remain an active student during the exchange program.
Note: in case a student doesn’t hold an International Valid Certificate of English B2 level, he/she can take the B2 Level English Test at the University Examination Center and obtain a Certificate. Exams are scheduled for March 7 and 9, 2022, at 12 p.m.
